Frequently Asked Questions
Are cruciferous vegetables harmful to the thyroid?
Some cruciferous vegetables contain a substance (Goitrogens) that may affect thyroid health if inadequate dietary Iodine is consumed. Almost none of these are present in Broccoli sprouts.

Why does Cell-Logic focus on Sulforaphane?
Sulforaphane, a phytochemical concentrated in young broccoli sprouts, is one of the most researched natural activators of the body’s antioxidant, detoxification and anti-inflammatory genes.
Harnessing its power underpins many Cell-Logic formulations because robust clinical data show it supports long-term cellular defence.
Is there gluten in GliSODin and why?
Yes, GliSODin contains 16.6mg of gluten (8.3mg gliadin) per capsule which is approximately equivalent to the amount found in a small breadcrumb.
The gliadin in GliSODin is necessary for its gene-activating (nutrigenomic) effect.
That means that the gliadin in combination with the SOD-rich melon extract is essential for increasing production of Superoxide dismutase (SOD) and the other antioxidant enzymes and protective molecules.

I have been told by my practitioner I have sulfur intolerance. Can I take EnduraCell-containing products (Sulforaphane yielding?).
Yes. Any Sulforaphane-yielding product can be used in someone with a sulfur intolerance.
- Slowly increasing the dose is generally the best way to introduce these products in someone with suspected intolerance or dysbiosis.

Do your broccoli sprout products affect thyroid function or blood-thinning medication?
They contain negligible goitrogens and only ~7 µg of vitamin K₁ per 700 mg capsule—far below levels known to interfere with thyroid or anticoagulant therapies.
If you’re on medication, discuss any supplement changes with your clinician first.
Differing colour and/or flavour of powdered products.
We use high quality raw materials for all our products. Natural products vary from season to season and their appearance and flavour may change from time to time.
- This does not reflect a change in their nutritional quality; each batch is lab-tested for levels of bioactivity.
- Cell-Logic endeavours to obtain the highest quality raw materials for all our Functional Food products.
Where can I buy Cell-Logic products?

Can your products be used during Chemotherapy?
No supplements are tested for their effects during active cancer treatment. Therefore, our policy on supplementation during medical treatment is to suggest the avoidance of all supplements until chemotherapy or radio therapy has finished. We do recommend that the patient consumes the most nutritious diet possible to assure that key nutrients are being consumed.
- Whilst it may be safe and potentially beneficial to consume certain supplements, there is currently no evidence to support this.
When should I stop taking your products prior to surgery involving general anaesthesia?
We recommend stopping the use of any of our products at least 3 days prior to any surgical procedure involving general anaesthesia. It would be prudent to consult your anaesthetist or other medical adviser for more information.
Are the Cell-Logic products safe to consume during pregnancy and lactation?
Although there is no evidence to suggest that any of our ingredients or formulations is unsuitable for a pregnant or breast-feeding woman to be taking, here are no clinical data to support their safe use. To our knowledge, this is because no such studies have ever been undertaken.
- It must be understood that very little data exist that demonstrates the safety of either pharmaceutical or nutraceutical substances in preconception, pregnancy or lactation.
- Even though some brands claim safety in pregnancy, no supplement is actually tested in pregnancy. As such we can never definitively claim safety for any supplement.
What are the differences between EnduraCell BioActive and EnduraCell PLUS?
- EnduraCell PLUS contains selenium whereas EnduraCell BioActive does not.
- Selenium is an essential trace element and is necessary for many of the beneficial effects of sulforaphane.
- Selenium is often deficient in Australian and NZ soils.
- Total intake of selenium should not exceed 150 mcg on a regular, daily basis. Exceeding this amount is possible if other selenium containing supplements are taken at the same time.
I am currently taking your EnduraCell BioActive and was wondering if this product has undergone third-party testing for heavy metals and other contaminants. If so, could you kindly provide details on the testing process or certifications?
The Cell-Logic manufacturing process begins with evaluation of the seed stock we plan to use for the coming season. After checking the seed for its bioactive levels, we then check for Heavy Metal residue and Chemical residues. This is done through an independent NATA-accredited Laboratories in Australia. Only samples which comply with the strictest regulatory criteria are accepted for sprout growing.
Because our sprouts are grown, dried and milled in a controlled growing environment in an approved facility, there is no opportunity for contamination by heavy meals or agricultural chemicals. No chemicals of any kind are used during manufacture; the seeds are sprouted with exposure only to filtered water and purified air.
Furthermore, EnduraCell BioActive is a single-ingredient product, so that there are no other ingredients which might introduce any contaminants.
Important Note for those with sensitive digestive systems and/or diagnosed gastrointestinal dysbiosis.
Very occasionally, individuals may experience adverse effects after ingestion of either fresh broccoli sprouts or supplements manufactured from fresh sprouts. These effects are typically gastro-intestinal (gut focused) in nature and may include feelings of nausea, bloating and gastro-abdominal discomfort; rarely skin rashes or headaches may indicate an individual’s extreme sensitivity Such reactions, although infrequent, typically occur in those with pre-existing gastro-intestinal conditions. In such patients, there may be an existing imbalance in the composition of the bacteria or other microbes inhabiting the digestive tract.
The symptoms are readily corrected by stopping the product entirely until the symptoms subside and then reintroducing it at a very much lower dose which can be gradually increased as tolerance improves.
HOW TO REINTRODUCE A BROCCOLI SPROUT PRODUCT
The amount that we suggest starting with is approximately that which would fit on the very tip of a sharp steak knife. Take an initial morning dose and if there is no adverse reaction, have a second dose at night. Continue in this manner, gradually increasing the quantity daily until the full dose is tolerated. Depending on the individual, this make take a few days, a week or even a month. Once at full dose, continue to take the product at the recommended dose.
What is nutrigenomics?
Nutrigenomics is the study of how specific food-derived molecules “talk” to your genes, switching protective pathways on—or off—at the cellular level.
By formulating products that target these upstream cellular signals, Cell-Logic delivers nutritional strategies that work with, not against, your biology.
What makes EnduraCell® different from other broccoli sprout supplements?
EnduraCell® is a 100 % whole, enzyme-active broccoli sprout powder—nothing added, nothing removed.
Unlike seed extracts with inactive enzymes, EnduraCell® can generate clinically relevant sulforaphane levels that mirror successful trial doses.
Are Cell-Logic capsules vegan and allergen-friendly?
Yes. All encapsulated products use natural vegetable capsules that quickly disintegrate in the gut.
Formulas are free from common allergens including gluten, dairy, soy, nuts, yeast, and artificial additives.
I’m sensitive to cruciferous vegetables—will I tolerate EnduraCell®?
A minority of users with underlying gut dysbiosis may notice temporary bloating or discomfort.
Starting with a pin-head dose and slowly titrating up over two weeks usually resolves symptoms while your microbiome adapts.
